I have created a forum called TeamD and a user group called TeamD.

I've set the permissions on the TeamD forum to deny access to anyone except TeamD, which is set to full access.

Users I've added to the TeamD user group can post to existing threads in the TeamD forum and start topics in the public forums, but can not start any new topics in the TeamD forum.

What have I missed?

Thanks for the reply. That setting is on.

The whole site is just for testing at this stage and I have been playing wtih things, but I can't think of what I could have inadvertently changed to cause this.

If you have a few minutes spare, I'd be happy to PM you admin access details.

Works for now me too. Thanks. 🙂

Was it something I did or a bug?

That's why beta versions exist. My main work software seems to live in a perpetual beta state. 🙂
