Support Forum
Seems like I've been bugging you guys all month on this issue or that.
So I updated WP to 4.5, and then update SP, then my them, etc. Everything's up to date.
Now, my photo uploading process isn't working. I can add a file but the "Start Upload" button does nothing.
Thoughts?
need more info please... any errors in browser console?
try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and clear the combined js cache since you didnt upgrade all at once....

No errors in browser console.
Also, I reset both combined CSS and JS cache and that didn't fix the issue.

I can see your WP theme is running Bootstrap by the source code being generated. As many topics on this forum will disclose, Bootstrap is not a WP supported library and it has a negative effect on the jQuery UI which IS supported and which many plugins use - including SP.
In the forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink - is the option set to run Javascript in the footer? If not please turn it on and see what happens.

Yes - keep it checked.
So what about the WP theme? Is there an option within that to control where the scripts are loaded - header or footer? You need to either remove the Bootstrap library or, in some way, ensure that it is loaded earlier in the page loading sequence. That way we can undo the damage it does.

I am not hyjacking this thread - but I will subscribe.
I also have the same problem and am using the CSS theme.
From the Javascript Console:
jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:2 Uncaught Error: cannot call methods on button prior to initialization; attempted to call method 'enable'
bootstrap.min.js?ver=1.5:11 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'documentElement' of null
bootstrap.min.js?ver=1.5:11 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'documentElement' of nullspjEdOpenEditor @ VM4727:1
bootstrap.min.js?ver=1.5:11 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'documentElement' of null
Hope this helps
Stephen
Hey Stephen,
Have you tried anything that's been listed above to see if it resolves the problem?
A bootstrap conflict really comes down to what Andy pointed out in post #6. Unfortunately not an easy one to resolve.
