Pinned posts not sorting at the top?

I have several pinned posts posted by me and locked, but they aren't sorting at the top like I would expect.

What should I check for that?  Did I set something for sorting that overrides this?

Did you pin the topic or the post? they are separate entities, but assuming you did pin a post, they will be put at the top of the topic view page... they are sorted by ID (which is essentially same as creation date)... are you seeing something different?

Hmm. looks like I pinned the post.  However, I don't see the ability to pin the topic even when I'm logged in as admin.  Where would I see that?  I expected in the upper left with the tool icon to drop down.  Is there somewhere else it should be?

Posts are pinned in the toolbox when viewing the post (topic view)

Topics are pinned when you are viewing the list of topics (forum view).

Both with the popup toolbox.

I'm not seeing the Popup Toolbox when logged in as Admin anymore.  I was previously, but not now.  Is this something broken with the rendering I need to change?

that would indicate a js conflict... http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/

when you hover over the topic (in forum view) or post (in topic view), it should appear in the upper left of that topic or post... if not, then the likely a js conflict...

OK, so I read that but it doesn't really say how to go about finding the source of the conflict.  Can you point me in that direction?

can you pm myself and Yellow Swordfish some temp credentials?  might be easier just to look at it in action...  account would need to have access to the forum tools, so like a moderator...
