Support Forum
Hi folks, forgive me if this is in the wrong place.
I have a problem and I was hoping you might be able to suggest the fix or I can pay someone to fix it for me.
I've had simple press installed on my wordpress site running with a few plugins for over a year and its been fine. Today I edited the forum page name in wordpress then went the integration page to update the page the forum should point to.Updated the forum permalink This seemed to work fine with all the correct information
However now when I load the forum page I get the following message always appearing above the banner
Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /homepages/24/d387179773/htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 231
Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /homepages/24/d387179773/htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 232

It only the forum page if I load any pages of the main wordpress site, the error is not present.
I've restored a copy of the same file to my pc from a week ago when the problem was not present and did a file comparison, the files were identical. That would suggest it is not a code error.
