I've uploaded the extracted plugins folders to my /public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins folder and refresh the 'plugins' option in Simple press and they don't show up under 'available plugins'.

Can anyone assist me in why this is, and how to get them to show up so I can activate/install them?

Thanks

have you checked forum - integration - storage locations and made sure the permissions are correct?

If so, then you need to check the UID and GID of the sp-resources directory...  in a few cases, the server permission and php type used dont allow that folder to get created with the proper owners...  compare it to wp-content...

Thanks for the response.

My storage location is: sp-resources/forum-plugins and have writable permissions.

SP-resources folder is '755'

wp-content folder is '755' as well.

For the plugin 'sp-plugin-online-1.0.6' am I supposed to FTP that folder into the sp-resources folder (which I did - but no luck) or the folder inside of it called 'online'?

Thanks.

those are permissions, not UID and GID...  it would be something like user:user...  but doesnt matter if working now...

when you extract a plugin,  you will get a folder that contains the plugin, ie online or private-messaging... our zips dont include such a directory with the version in it... so yeah, dont upload that...

I was able to get all the plugins uploaded and activated. However, members aren't able to see the added features. rate posts, PM box, flag...etc...

Are there are special settings i need to set?

It seems when I ask for assistance, I fix it myself.

I'm all set. 🙂
