This may be an issue with my WP site, but when I go to upload a SP theme or plugin, all I get is a blank page after I select the proper zip file and click the "upload" button.
In turning on error logging in my wpconfig file, I see the following notice when I attempt the upload:
Notice: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/temporal/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2905
I also get a blank page and get the same notice when I try to delete an old page from my trash and when I go to activate a WP plugin (although the WP plugin activates)
Within SP it's more of a nuisance as I can manually upload the plugin and theme directories via FTP.
Any ideas?
that wont be from us, but another plugin... we dont use wpdb->escape... and it is just a notice, the old function still works, they are just telling you its deprecated and could be deleted at any time...
any more info when trying to upload? our uploaders, just use the wp uploader extended for our stuff.. with the browser console open, look a the responses...

I cleared the console and tried the SP plugin upload again.
Here's the console output:
Error: The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.Source File: http://frugaltrend.temporalsal.....pluginLine: 0
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
afraid I have no clue what that message means... and this is a wp internal page load, not even sp...
googling the first sentence brings up couple hits, but nothing useful... out of curiosity, have you tried in another browser for grins?
