PM Button not showing up

I downloaded the PM plugin, but the PM button isn't showing up in posts. I can PM someone by going up into my inbox, but I would like a PM button in people's posts for my user's convenience. I upgraded to the simple press and the forum skins latest editions yesterday. I downloaded and activated the PM plugin from the website this morning.This website's forum has the PM button. What am I missing?

So can I assume you are your forums admin and when using the forum logged in as admin you do not see the button in the posts?

What SP theme are you using please and have you made any changes to it?

Hello. Yes, I'm the forums admin and I log in as admin. I don't see the button on anyone's posts.

I'm using the default SP theme version 1.0.14. I've tried different overlays and it makes no difference. The only change I made was installing the theme update yesterday.

I'm using Private Message System version 1.0.17

I deactivated the PM system, and now my forums can't be found. When I click on a forum it says "Page cannot be found. Perhaps searching will help." I uninstalled the PM system but my forums still aren't returning.

After logging out and closing my browser, I checked my website again and my forums have returned.

Ok I figured out the problem. Once I activated the PM plugin, I didn't set the permissions to allow users to take advantage of that feature. Everything is fine now. Thanks.
