I've searched for an answer to this, but haven't seen anything.

I have SP 5.01 installed, and am using the CSS-Only theme.  Everything is working great, the single exception to this seems to be the PM system, which loads VERY slowly (1-3 minutes!) for every visitor, no matter which browser they are using.

wow. that would bother me too... but we have no other reports of such behavior...

what takes that time to load??  the page or individual threads? or other?

you do have some js errors, seems from exec-php plugin on your pages...  but not sure its related...
