I am wondering if it is possible for our Forum Members to be able to put in their Display Name themselves when they register but then not be able to change it. They could only have it changed by an admin?
I don't think it is set up this way but I am wondering if it could be.

Registration is the purview of WP... by default they dont allow that... though there are multiple plugins that allow you to collect and set more information at registration... I would suggest looking at one of those...
if you use one, simple press can be set to not allow display name changing...
