I plan to import logs manually from an old hand-made bbs to new simple press forum.
The old bbs is opnen, that is, it does not require any membership. I need to post as guests wth tempolary name and edit date and time the post which coincides with old log's.
How can I do it?

Using our 'Post As' SP plugin you can create posts as a forum admin in the name of other users AND change and edit the date/time of the post. But... the other users have to be registered members of your forum. Not Guests.

You can make posts as an unregistered member (guest) by setting up the correct permissions and access controls... but that will NOT allow you to edit the date and time of posts.

Or - of course - you can do what you like by adding data directly to the database although that does have some tricky hazards and relationships between tables.
