Post ratings not working

After we uninstalled and reinstalled the subscription and post rating plugins, as requested, the two tables in the DB were restored, subscriptions working, but the post rating thumbs up/down are not any longer.

I believe it is activated, but not sure what to do.  Advice?

Do you have ratings turned in the forums for which you want to use it. Forum admin > manage groups and forums > edit selected forum. Then see the 'extended' options on the form?
