when i post a new topic and i am loved in to the forum it shows the new topic, however when i check it on another computer thats not logged as myself as if i was a visitor or another logged in user the topic does not show for about 20 minutes.
p.s.
if i share the link on Facebook and someone clicks on the link they are redirected to the topic and can see the topic.
why is there such a long lag in time to show post and what can be some remedy to correct?

Its because you caching the wp page the forum shows up on... as we have said a zillion times now, you cannot cache the wp page the forum appears on... all the forum content appears on a single wp page... so if you cache the wp page, you wont get the proper forum data... With w3tc, you need to exclude the forum page from all caching types you are using (each type has its own exclusion list)..
