Good Evening.

I have a Forum wih about 8 subforums.

Tonight I moved my Subforums (  Sub/Child Forum )

Now I see my Subforums under the Main Forum but cant read the Topics.

How do I get the   Sub/Child Forum  back as normal Topics.

Look at the Names under Wall of Shame ???

Thanks

you are getting what looks like some sort of error along the way... dont know if related to sp or not... can you check your error log for any info?  and check forum - toolbox - error log and see if any info...

I am a little confused to what your structure was... and what it is... if you go to forum - forums - manage groups and forums, is everything laid out right there?

if so, might try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and rebuild the forum indexes...

OK what I did, I went into my Forum whick was under a Group.
Ex:

Group   WALL OF SHAME !!!

Forums   Frik

Bill

Gert

Koos

Wouter, etc... just Names now.

Then I went into each Forum with the Names and tick the "Sub/Child Forum"

I see the Names now next to each other under the Group but cant read the posts...

I dont see the option "housekeeping and rebuild the forum indexes" in my toolbox.

you will have toolbox... the next menu is housekeeping... click on that and a form will open up... one button is rebuild index...

but first, let me understand what you did...

we have a structure to a forum...

group then forum then subforum (repeating subforum as much as you want)...

so you had a group call 'wall of shame'...   and under it 5 names...  right?

but I am lost when you went to the subforum part of your explanation...  if you edit each forum and try to make it a subforum, you need to assign a new parent forum...  so what was the parent forum for the new subforums?

oooohhhh... this is an old 4.x version...  you posted in the 5.0 version forum...

how old a version? and what wp version? there was an older 4.x bug in this area that was fixed...

So you answered the question about how it was originally supposed to look but you did not answer what it was supposed to look like now???  which parent forum did you assign the new child forums to??

wow... quoting yourself makes it hard to read...

you did not answer your version of sp though??

and how about a screenshot of your forum - forums - manage groups and forums admin panel so we can see the actual structure...
