I discovered that when you click to Edit a post, view count increase by one.  And when you save after editing, the post is shown again so another +1 to view count.  I don't know if you can avoid that, view counts would be more realistic.  Ok I know the post was actually shown 3 times but it would make more sense if it would increase only by one.

Verdict?  This also apply when you reply btw.  So when you read a thread and reply, view count increase.

I ask only because I like stats that are meaningful.  I see it something similar to unique visitors vs page loads.  Usually those who like stats are more looking for unique visitors than page loads.  But I know that many other forum software don't apply this either, so I'm just asking what you think.

if you want something soon, would suggest hooking into the post save and redirect away from the post you just made...
