Hello support,
Just want to know if there is a way a set a private message that get sent to all new members?
I would like to be able to set a private message that get sent to all new registered members with directions on how to use the forum, what the forum is about, exclusive promotions that are available to new members and more.

no, not really... our api certainly would support it, but nothing built in...
keep in mind that users and registrations are the realm of wordpress, not simple press... we simply use the registrations/users from the wordpress site... that said, there are multiple wp plugins out there appear to support what you want... well, they would send an email but not PM since that is part of simple press...
but wordpress does have an action/filter for new user registration, so a relatively small piece of code could be written to hook into that action/filter and then use our api to send a pm to all users (from admin account)...
