Support Forum
Suspect that is right. But of fringe case and frankly never asked for before - most admins want to be accessible. But, off top if head, if indeed the problem, no reason it cannot be supported.

Excellent.
Could you please take a look at the table called sfmembers and find the row for your entry (by the user_id column probably).
What I would like - if possible - is for you to copy and paste the content of the column named user_options so I can take a close look at how the settings are being stored.
Hope that is possible.

Here's what under user_option in sfmembers for my account:
a:9:{s:8:"namesync";b:1;s:11:"autosubpost";b:1;s:7:"pmemail";b:0;s:10:"hidestatus";b:0;s:8:"timezone";i:0;s:8:"pmoptout";b:1;s:6:"editor";s:1:"1";s:15:"timezone_string";s:13:"Europe/Berlin";s:13:"pmdisplaysize";s:0:"";}
not entirely sure where Andy was going with the request, unless he was just verifying the option really was set in your db for the admin account...
but I also cannot replicate this behavior...
these are regular users that can still email you? and from the autocomplete addresses? I just cannot get any opted out users to show in there...
and you are running the latest 5.3.4 version of simple press? there was a global permission issue a few versions back that could have affected this, but its fixed and verified by multiple users... if on latest version, try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and resetting the auths cache and seeing if that helps...

Foe the record I want6ed to ensure that the 'pmoptout' option was being stored as a number and not a string. I have seen some problems in the past with some systems apparently serialising numbers as strings and this wont always work on older php versions - although to be honest that may well have been on old V4 php versions.
But not relevant here as the value is clearly stored as boolean.
And no - 100% unable to replicate an opted out Admin being made available as a recipient.

Yes, they are regular users, using autocomplete. On the latest version (5.3.4). I've reset the auths cache and that seems to have fixed it. None of the other teachers are showing up now when they're opted out. The only one who still shows up is me, which is fine. Perhaps because I am a superadmin since I am the "owner"? As said, that's perfectly fine.
no... there is no difference for a wp super admin (multisite term) or any other wp or sp admin... it doesnt enter into the equation...
