Support Forum
Hi
I'm facing a new issue, I can't edit any of my posts in the forum, once I click edit the page like refreshed but nothing happened I've checked my browser inspector and seems there is no JS error or conflict, could you please tell me how to troubleshoot that problem and also would be great let me know if there is a specific URL for editing the posts.
There are no known, outstanding or reported problems with editing. The only two issues people have had have been caused by other plugins or themes - specifically something that does nor process the url properly - actually, in tis case, remove the fragment from the end. I would suggest that knowing the url wont really help as whatever is stripping it will do it regardless of how it is called.
I can say that the last theme I recall doing this was one called Avada so if that is what you are using you need to talk to the theme authors.
If not that theme then you probably need to cast your mind back to work out what changed just before this started happening. A new theme or WordPress plugin? Updates to either? As I always have to point out to users - things do not just randomly stop working one day all by themselves. Something has to have happened...

Hi
I didn't add any plugin the theme I'm using is Ignition, and the changes we have done so far is
1. changed to the new SP paid template(but switching back to the old theme didn't help)
2. installed an SSH certificate, if it would be cause of the problem please suggest me the solutions.
Thanks
as you said, the SP theme wont have any effect on editing...
Nor should an SSL (assume you meant that) certificate, assuming WP was configured properly to use SSL and then Simple Press permalink was updated as well...
On the rare occasions this has happened, its usually been a WP security plugin or server side security add on (firewall, mod security, etc) that is incorrectly sniffing the query args (or POST arguments) to a url...
have you checked the php error log (not ours) after trying to load an edit page?
