Problem since upgrade to 5.1.3

I recently upgraded to 5.1.3 and now posts made by the Admin are not visible to guests!

This worked prior to the upgrade so I know I had the permissions set appropriately before hand.

What broke?

See the problem here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.....request-3/

As a guest, you see nothing!  As a logged in user, it's visible.

not sure what would have happened... try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and resetting the auths cache...

Did that.  No love.

Anything else I can try?

EDIT:  I checked the permissions.  They were RESET by the upgrade!  Ouch.  Now I need to fix them again.

EDIT2:  It also seems that permissions I had checked now show up TWICE in the permissions grid.  One set is checked, the other is not.  Checking the second set seems to fix the problem.

Guess I'll think twice about upgrading casually again.  :(

go to your db... the sfauths table... look at the admin_negate column... which rows are set to 1?

are all your sp plugins up to date too?

All plugins were updated at the time of upgrade, immediately following the 5.1.3 install.  Same with themes.

I have 2 rows with admin_negate = 1:

Can view only own posts and admin/mod posts

Can only reply to own topics

OK, it's worse than I thought.

I can't make it go away by editing the permissions because the permissions aren't saving for the duplicate set.

I see this in my permission set (for any of the levels)--this is highly, highly broken and my users are screaming because they can't see my answers to questions.

I am seeing that forum post you linked to in your first post now. Did you get it working and now saving correctly?

It is a shame when people don't come back and let us know.

Which problem do you mean? Guests not seeing admin posts or problems updating the permissions?

And on the permission set you use for guests have you allowed your guests to view posts made by admins?

I don't have guests, only members, but the forum can only be viewed by admins.

I have changes permission and reset, just about a 100 times, and alle they see is :

The requested group does not exist or you do not have permission to view it
