Problem since upgrade to 5.1.3

This is probably an artifact of the 'multiple' upgrade process.

Have you reset the auth cache as was suggested in post 2 above?

What you suggested never worked.  The only thing I was able to get working was to manually reset the permission to add "Show posts from Administrator" to all permission sets.

However, I still have duplicate permissions and only one set of them ever remains checked.  It's working, but the permissions should not be doubled.  Try that, Janni--look at your permission sets and add that permission to all of them, saving them each time.  I will also bet you have doubled permissions as well.

Or refrase: If i change the persmissionsets, the settings don't save... can i do it in the database, or...?

Janni: If you don't have any special permission sets you created yourself then it might be a good idea to rteste the permissions (menu option) but you will the have to re-attach them to your forums. Changing them in the database is not really possible.

Dave: (1) So did you have any problems when you upgraded from V4 to V5? (2) Are you saying that you appear to have a 'good' collection of permission sets that save Ok and a 'bad' collection that do not?

I replaced the database with a backup, and reinstalled the update - No problemos, besides regrets that i should have done this yesterday laugh
