I've seen that after the update the lists of New/recently udapted topics and Select a forum has desapeared from the top of the forum.
What can I do to have this lists again?

I see two problems. The first is that the Thickbox plugin you are using is loading a second copy of the jQuery.js library. At least that is what it looks like. Two copies being loaded is not good and the second copy will not be the correct WP version which is a 'special' version used for WordPress and supposed to be used by plugin and theme authors.
The second problem might disappear if the above is fixed but if it doesn't then you are getting a type error because of the use of the '$' shortcut for jQuery code. Not sure but I suspect this is from the Event Calendar plugin.
