Well while I am in 100% support of dropping IE8 it is a loose end I would prefer to have seen it resolved. Difficult for me without IE....

A couple of members are using IE9 and it works perfectly.

So I don't think it is a huge loss without IE8 wink

Fair enough.
IE8 itself is certainly not a huge loss 🙂

agree with Andy that its long past its prime... but hate leaving it unresolved...

Me too, Steve!

By the way, today I looked at the site/forum using IE9. No problem at all.

I am having some issues with Gantry itself as well, sometimes I cannot add a widget. I thought it was a problem with a plugin, I checked them all and it still doesn't work. But if I switch off ALL the plugins, then it's fine. One by one does nothing...

Oh well, as long as people can see the site properly I am OK with it. Nobody's complaining, therefore I guess I'm on track. wink

cool. thanks for the update... and btw, IE 10 is already in consumer preview and expected to hit beta this September...  I did download one of the preview versions and it actually looks quite promising...

That's a great piece of news, Steve!

But I have a bad one as well laugh

Out of a sudden, when pasting the URL of a YouTube page, the video doesn't show up, just the link.

I checked everywhere and everything seems OK, but I am certainly missing out something...

Is this something new - i.e., was it working OK before. 'Sudden' suggests that is so.

If so then the usual question is always first. smileWhat has changed?
