Hello gurus,
I installed SP in a directory called "simplepress" in order to test and configure. Once it was ready to go I copied it to the root directory. I renamed the simplepress directory "simplepress.old" Everything appears to work as it should; we can post, reply, upload attachments, and so on. However when we attempt to access our profiles, it returns the error,
Profile form could not be found [/problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/county/public_html/simplepress/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/profile/forms/sp-form-overview.php]
(Emphasis mine)
Can you tell me where to update this so that it will look to the new location?
Thanks for the help & the awesome software!
Christine
yup... since themes and plugins can add new tabs and menus to the profile and we cannot know for sure where that location will be, we have to store the entire path to the profile forms...
So, go to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and click on the reset profile tabs and menus button to have the paths regenerated...
