ok, so my profile page isn't working. I searched this forum and found something about it being the JS Queary - whatever that is, lol.  I know enough programming to make me dangerous.

The theme I am using is actually on self customized one. I started with a premium theme a few years back and completely overhauled it leaving just its framework, for lack of a better word...

Anyway, the forum works fine on another site that I used the original theme, but not the one I customized.

I tried following along with the thread I found but I can't seem to find anything in my functions.php file or my header to solve this.  I have attached both fiile as text file to see if anyone can see what I am missing.

The forum is at http://oddsonbetting.net

Much appreciated

can you give us any more information??  what does not work? error message?  did you move the site from another domain?  you might try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and clicking on the reset tabs and menus button...

Sure, I have the same problem that is posted here:

https://simple-press.com/suppo.....e-options/

If I click a tab, an ugly text version shows.

I tried going through what is said to fix it, but I am afraid that iis far above my pay-grade and I couldn't figure it out. I can't find anything in my functions file nor in my header to delete or change that seemed right.

The problem on that thread is not 'an ugly text version' - it is just that the profile forms were not showing up at all.

I could really do with a link to your forum page. I tried the link above but I can find no mention of how to get to your forum from there so a precise link to the actual page would be useful.

I suspect that you do not have the mandatory call to the wp_footer() function in place in your WP theme. This is a required WP item and would normally be in the footer template file. If you are unsure about this the best bet is to look at the WP default theme and see how and where they place it and the follow suit.

When that is in place we can see if that is the only issue...

That was EXACTLY the problem! Thank You!

I must have accidentally deleted it when customizing the footer.

Wow, I knew it had to be something simple since I had it working another site with the same, unmodified theme.

Thanks again SO MUCH!!!!!

You guys ROCK!
