Support Forum
Hey Sanehpal Sira,
The short answer is no. The page that the forum resides in is controlled by WordPress so blocking the page entirely based on user group will have to come from something like a restrict content, or membership plugin.
If you don't want to do this you can restrict access to certain parts of the forum using permissions although users will still be able to see the main forum page. I recommend taking a look at the Getting Started guide, specifically the 'Controlling Access' section at the bottom.
Just to add to that - when you say 'want the simple:press to manage the users' then I think you are overlooking, perhaps, that users are part of the website which is under the control of WordPress. Simple:Press is a WordPress plugin that sits in top of that core.

Is there a Membership plugin that works with the simple:press that is recommended? I dont want to protect pages on the forum but on the website itself (i.e. a member info page that is only accessible to users who have been approved on the forum). I do want to use the simple:press membership to allow access.
most any wp membership plugin that uses the wp api and standards for wp roles should work...
see: https://simple-press.com/docum.....ip-plugin/
but some users use include wishlist, restrict content pro, membership 2, emembers, etc...
