I was wondering if there is a way for admins or moderators of a simple press forum to read individual PM made and posted to other users.. in any form.. is there a permission that needs to be looked at.
the reason i ask.. i received an email expressing concern that a member of my forum had an PM made to another user read by "someone".. they assumed it was a mod or admin.. is there a way to check activity of admins and mods on my forum..

No... forum admins and moderators cannot read other folks PMs... they are private as the name indicates...
some one with database access could of course, look in the pm table and read them there... but dont think that is your case...
