If a forum is subscribed to the RSS feed of a Group or a Forum and I later remove this person's permission to the forum. How will the RSS feed work? Will they continue to get updates through RSS?

If it is a completely private forum then it will not be shown in an RSS feed for anyone unless you are using the feedkey option. Options > Global Settings. The popup help explains it best. And if you DO use the feedkey then all permissions for all users are applied.

I'm a little confused with this sentence in the help (see below). What exactly is a private RSS and where is that set?

The private RSS feature is not compatible with external feed urls however since they can't provide the unique user feed key.

What that is taking about is if you use something like FeedBurner. It takes can take a private feed and then 'rebroadcast' it. When that happens the feed is no longer private.
If you are not using something like that then you don't have to worry about it.
