I have turned off the feature: Within the admin options however I am still getting a box on top of the forum showing old edits. How can I remove this?

do the old messages not have a dismiss link? you can turn on future nnotices on forum - admins - your admin options...

We've opened a ticket on this missing 'remove 'link which is a little weird to be honest.
Are you by any chance using a translation or is you forum in English?

No translation. If it helps, the "dismiss" link appeared when browsing the site on an ipad 1 OS6.

Now that is insane! There is definitely no code in there checking whether running on a mobile, tablet or desktop browser...
Currently totally unable to replicate this I am afraid. Running out of ideas as well come to that. Might help if I could actually see it in place.
