generally speaking, caching plugins dont work well with simple press because they assume a wp page is static.. the forum is not static and displays all of its content on the single wp page... its just url rewrite black magic that makes it look like lots of pages...
to work, a caching forum would have to forget its a wp page and instead use the canonical url of the page for caching purposes...
recently a user told us of one that appears to do it...
see: https://simple-press.com/suppo.....5/#p133535
now, we have not tried it, but the user says it works...

Thanks Steve,
This chache plugin sounded really promising. But after one hour of browsing the internet and reading opinions and experinces, it seems like the plugin is still in the early steges of development and some sites did get issues by using it.
I will certainly continue follow the project, and hopefully it will turn out as a stable plugin in the near future.
Thanks for the tip.
okay, thanks for the info... I hadnt heard of it until that user posted that he was using it and it worked well...

It has almost 200.000 downloads at wordpress.org so i am sure it´s working well at many sites. I am just not willing to take any risks, since it has some reported issues.
I know the feeling... I just avoid caching plugins in general as none have worked right for me on any site - excluding SP of course...
