Support Forum
I just installed Simple Press and am using it on a private membership site. At present, whenever a user posts, admins have to moderate the message and approve it. I want to turn this off, so that members can post directly to the forum without moderation. However, I've gone through all the admin controls and cannot find out where to turn off this moderation feature.
Can someone help?
whether a user or not needs moderation is determined by your permission settings... please see these codex topics:
for general user access info: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ng-access/
for how moderation works: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ions-work/

I have both options set to true:
- Can bypass all post moderation: True
- Can bypass first post moderation: True
But sometimes when a member wants to post a link (links unlimited in the content setting panel btw), the post turns waiting for moderation... Do you know why is this happening?
are you talking SP posts here? we dont have any functionality to force moderation based on links...

Would Admin Bar Plugin and Akismet force them into moderation based on the links used?
good question... It might actually do just that... hadnt entered akismet into the equation... think you are right...
so on forum - admins - global admin options in the akismet section, you can turn off the akismet spam checking if you like...
nice catch Brandon!
