Ok... when you guys say that every forum must have it's own unique mailbox, is that something that would be done through my hostgator cpanel?
Am I basically creating an email address for each forum I.E:
etc?
When it comes to my users having permissions set to use this feature, is that something that they would have to select, or could I enable that upon registration?
If I can set it, would it be possible to only enable this for topics to which they are subscribed?
I'm not sure if it's better to enable this, or to get the recurring traffic to the site.... probably to get the recurring traffic.
Either way, I want it for myself and for my other admin, so once I know how to set up the mailboxes, I should be good to go!

yes, that is correct... but the email box doesnt have to match the forum slug... you will specify the email address in the forum details...
permissions control which forums its enabled on... but it will be forum wide and not topic specific... but you can also control who can create topics or reply to posts...
