Is there a way to reset the forum statistics? I mean the box shown below the forum, with all the top posters, logged in users etc.

I ask because I made a copy on a new domain of a site containing a SP forum and deleted all users and forum groups on the new site. Maybe a better route would simply be to reinstall SP when the need is a fresh forum?

are you saying the stats are not updating? does wp cron work on your site? you can try a quick deactivate (NOT uninstall) and then reactivate of simple press and see if that kicks it into gear...

Well, I made a copy of one site (files + database) to a new domain; on the new domain I deleted users and forum groups and somewhat expected the statistics to go to zero.

I thnk a better way to do it, is to delete the old install of SP and make a new installation and then export the theme from the original site.

the forum stats are stored in a distinct option entry (sfoptions)... so removing forum groups would have no effect until the next stats cron run... but should update then...

not sure I follow what you are doing...  you moved a site to a new domain and you want a fresh forum?  go to forum - toolbox - uninstall.. check the box and save... then deactivate simple press plugin... it will remove all data... then reactivate simple press and it will do fresh install on your moved site...  is that what you want?

Yes, what you mention in the last paragraph is what I want and I'll do it that way the next time.

On the current site (the copy) I tried running the sph_stats_cron hookin the Toolbox - CRON Inspector, but it didn't update the statistics. I deleted the user through the normal WP user interface. Could that be the explanation?

user?  running wp cron doesnt have anything to do with a user...

does your wp cron function right?  can you create a new wp blog post and schedule it for in the future by 10 minutes?  does it show up?
