One of our forum users uploaded an avatar to her profile and now would like to revert back to the original SP avatar. I have looked to see if we can do this but there is no way to delete the existing avatar, it is requiring me to upload a new one.
Can you help?

any user can remove their uploaded avatar from their profile... they go to their profile, the profile tab and the edit avatar menu... beneath their displayed uploaded profile there is a remove uploaded avatar button...

I ran into that recently. If you are using the sp-plugin gravitar cache, temporary deactivate it.
Or within your control panel file manager, navigate to wp-content > sp-resources > forum-gravitar-cache > delete the files in there.
