Support Forum
I just installed Simple Press to a Wordpress website I've had up for about a year (Wordpress version 3.3.1).
Everything seems to work great, except I can only post in plain text. I saw a couple of videos on YouTube about installing and using Simple Press and they most definitely showed a rich text editor available for posting, immediately after install. There simply is no rich text toolbar at all in the post editor.
Under Forum Options, Global Settings, Post Editing, there is only Plain Text available as a selection for the default editor. I have no selection for a rich text editor.
I searched Google and the forum to see if rich text is supposed to be installed, or if it's a plug-in, but I can't find a clear answer.
- Did something go wrong with my install?
- Am I supposed to install a plug-in to get it?
Thanks!
Jim
tinymce is now an sp plugin... there are multiple types of editors as sp plugins... like all sp plugins you can get it on our download page...
