hi - sorry,a lot of questions coming your way just now but I genuinely can't find an answer to this one.

I am trying to set up login via Facebook et al (it might help alleviate my other problems!)

I referred to http://wiki.simple-press.com/a.....istration/

I have this enabled and have the API key etc.

However, I have no idea what happens next! I assumed that somewhere on the login screen, or whatever, there wold be a 'Login with Facebook' option or icon (or whatever). But there's nothing.

I tried the codex, and even did a support forum search (I can't search for the term "RPX" as it is less than 4 chars!)

Anyone got any ideas? Has this come onto my login screen and I'm Just staring straight at it?

Thanks

S

You don't say if you have competed the RPX setup information in the forum admin > Login and registration panel...?

sorry, I have - I said API key.

Ok, hang on ... no idea how, but it had somehow got itself switched off! sorry...

however, now I have it working, there are 4 options for signin - aol, google, yahoo, and openID. Was looking for Facebook and twitter being there. I know you may say this is a Jamain setting but I can't find anything obvious on their site (am logged in) - do you know offhand what I might be missing?

You should be able to go to the Deployment > Sign in for Web and choose the providers you want to use in a widget. Then save the widget setup and it will change the ones used even if not using their widget.

Yes, this is Janrain. You choose the 3rd party logins you want to offer in their dashboard on their site in your account.
