our db converter plugin... will let you make all your sp tables be InnDB vice a mixture...
might be red herring, just thought worth a try...

I downloaded the data importer plugin and tried running it, it says
Unable to Import: Your Simple:Press forum already contains data
This importer requires a new and empty Simple:Press installation

@mr-papa , am I looking at the wrong plugin, I was reading yellows blog post about the myisam versus innodb and it says this
At the same time we will also be releasing a small and simple WordPress plugin that will convert all of the Simple:Press MyISAM tables in your database – to use the InnoDB engine if this is something you prefer.
I don't see a plugin for that under the plugin list

it would be on the main download page... its a wp plugin, not sp... if not there, will have to check with Andy as I thought he had uploaded it... worst case, should be able to link to it here...
