If I have Tiny MCE and PLupload installed and enabled then the Tiny MCE editor does not show up. Instead I get a raw HTML editor (that I do not have installed) it's definitely not the plain text editor because it shows the HTML tags.
The plupload window does show up but, anything dragged into it simply loads to a new page where the only object is a centerd copy of the image I'm trying to upload. I get this behavior now regardless of the state of the Tiny MCE editor (activated or not) and even with the MCE plugin removed from the site.

I think tjere is probably going to be more than the one thing but the first is a big probpem and that is your WP theme loading a second, older and unsupported copy of the jQuery library, stomping all over the WP APi and WP standards.This codex article explains what this means and what to look for:

This is the first thing that needs fixing.
