Search Box Formatting Disappeared With The Latest Simplepress Update

I updated to the most recent version of Wordpress and some of the boxes my users click for SEARCH and for the box for "Captcha" math problem aren't showing up to my users anymore. Not sure if it is a text setting or a layout issue, but the line around the text that framed the search area as a "box" is now missing.search-box-with-finger1.jpgImage Enlarger

In this image where my finger is, should show a "box" for the user to type keywords into the search field. They can type if they know it is there, but the users are telling me they can't find a place to type in a search keyword. (It's just not visible to them) It used to be like a header area with boxes around where to type. It was highlighted real nicely. Wondering if this is something in the preferences section that was automatically reset during the last update?

In addition, when a user goes to reply to a topic, that's when the captcha box comes up. The users are telling me it won't let them post, but they are just not seeing the "box" for the captcha math entry. It is there, but they are not seeing it. It's where my finger is directly under the 6+4. There used to be a prominent box there that has disappeared in the last update I did. Any ideas on the settings that I might need to adjust?

Where my finger is, there should be an open rectangle box right under the "6+4" and above the "Do Math to Save" box so the user can enter in the sum of 6+4 in order to post to my forum.

*I'm a rookie when it comes to Simplepress, so the more step by step you can give me the better.

sorry, pics like that are not much good... really need a link to see and inspect the css...

no wp plugin for caching?

are sp themes up to date? and sp plugins?

are you using our combined js and css caches?  if so, try clearing them on forum - toolbox - housekeeping...

I use bbPress plugin with my forum. Both bbPress and Simplepress are the latest updates. My version of Wordpress is the latest update too.

I had updated both bbPress & Simplepress and that's when the layout problems (missing boxes) happened.

I just cleared the JS & CSS cache but it didn't fix the issue.

is this the same or different from other ticket??

lets leave the discussion over there until its solved... then if this one is still an issue, we can come back to this...  keep us from potentially confusing the two... 😉

This formatting issue was something totally different than the other ticket. But a friend was able to get this problem solved for me. So the formatting issue with my forum is corrected now.
