Hi there
I just discovered that the search function in our forum doesn't work properly. The same answer comes out all too often:
Search results for 'hus' (0)
...even if "hus" (house in Norwegian...). Other searches seem to work as it should. You may try here.
Ideas?
Oh - yes - I run the latest version of both spf, plugins and themes + wp 3.4.1
Thanks, again

Hi my friend. What version of SP is this please?
When you open the advanced search - it will tell you at the bottom what the minimum search word length is. The most recent SP should actually refuse to continue with a search if the search term is shorter than that.
The minimum search word length is imposed by the mySQL database but, if need be, it can be changed although you would probably need to ask your host to do this as it requires a configuration change.

Sir!
Hope everything's fine up North of London just a 3 days before...
I updated plugins - also SP - to the latest version to see if that could solve the problem. SP v. 5.1.2.
Too short? In tiny text there is something about minimum 4 characters. I'll better translate that part.
Now, we also tried other words, like kjøpe (or "kjøpe hus" - buy house - this course is for free!) which won't work. So I thought maybe those strange Nordic characters might cause this strange behaviour? But then searching "Gardasjøen" (Garda lake/ lago di Garda), "mørke netter" (dark nights) or "å reise" (to travel) work fine.
Not too obvious, maybe...
