Well no - you should not get this unless sitting on the page for a really ling time (or - if unlucky - across the boundary of a nonce refresh). And I am unable to replicate this as well.

I know you may not want to actually thank us yet 🙂 - but could you try using the thanks on one of the posts above? Go through the same actions as on your own site and see if you get the popup?

I think it may have ended up being a plugin..  Checking with my users on this, but it seems not to pop up on me now..  Thanks once again for your fast support.

Ok, this did not get resolved.  I have deactivated all plugins on my site except for the forum plugin.  I even tested it on different themes.  I used it on the default 2016 WP theme and still have the same problem.  My users are still having the pop up also..  Any suggestions as to where to go now?  Thank you.  It doesnt happen when I add thanks to a post here, so it is something on my site, but I just can't figure out what..

Nothing in the error logs, but this does come up on the console in developer tools..  I'm not too versed in all of this, so it may have nothing to do with it, but figured it was worth a shot..  Thanks2016-11-01-at-6.16-AM-1.jpegImage Enlarger

That's a weird assortment! It's possible that this could effect nonce checking - they come into play when using ajax calls after all.

Take a look at your forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink panel. There is an option there to load JavaScript in the footer. Of not turned on can you do so and see if that helps at all?

Also - can I assume that your Simple:Press core and all SP plugins you may be using are all fully up to date?

@mr-papa - I didn't get the impression the problem is fixed so I think you may have been a little premature there 🙂 - What I don't get is that I would have thought that if there was a problem with, say, nonce checking then it would not be in just one or two places. What about mod-security? Do you think that could play a part?

@ruralinfo - Do you know if your host has mod-security turned on at your site and if so could you ask then to turn it off so you can test this without it getting in the way?
