Support Forum
- Create a forum User Group for your moderators(s). We would have created a default 'Moderators' group when you installed SP so you could use that. Move your user into that new User Group.
- Create a forum Permission Set (or decide on one you already have) that gives your new moderator the permissions you want them to have and use.
- Go to Manage Groups and Forums and on each forum you wish this user to moderate use the 'View Forum Permissions' button to then add the User Group/Permission Set combination.

Also, there is a potential bug in setting up moderators that might bite you... you may need to apply the fix here...

have you waited for the sp stats cache to update? check the db, sfmembers table, the admin column for the user in question... is it 0 or 1?

your mysql db... the one that wp runs out of... normally would access it via phpmyadmin via server control panel or similar app...
