Hi-
I need help. Two items:
1) I need to set up a few dozen forum members to populate forum before launching. How do I set up new members within the admin?
2) How do I change the forum login link? Upon setting up SP, it created a login link identical to my admin link.
Please advise. Thank you.

Users are not created by the forum. They are created by your website which, in your case, is controlled by WordPress. To create new users you go to the WordPress admin > users > add new.
The same actually applies to login and logout Again this is pure WordPress. What alternative login link do you want to use? Do you have some sort of login plugin active you prefer to use?

1 - members are the purview of WP... so you add them via the wp users admin UI... in you admin, in the left hand nav menu, you will see a Users menu - under there is a Add User item... use it... the user will be created in the site and he will be added to sp usergroups per your set up... you can also manually move him around... first create him then come on back if you need more help...
2 - can you elaborate? which link? we dont have a login link per se, at least by default... we have a login button which opens an inline login form... you can change it to a link if you like...
