Support Forum
Hi -
I have forums for different online courses, and I would like to know if I can create a special page for each course's forum, so that I can restrict access to that page using a membership plugin.
So, I would have a forum page for Course 1, a different page for Course 2, etc.
Thanks!
Samantha
No, all forum content appears on a single wp page... but based on what you requested, doesnt really matter... you can use the forum permissions, to control who can access which forums... so you can still easily control acess to each forum... and users would only see the forum(s) they have access too...

Hi -
Thanks for the reply. Actually, it's not quite that easy, since my users might have Read Only permissions in one forum, and Read/Write permissions in another forum - and there is no way to control that level of access using Simple Press.
I understand that they only see the Forums to which they have access, but it means I have to set up LOTS of permissions groups to come close to what I want to achieve. Would be easier if I could just give use one permission set, and then break out the forums onto course pages using some type of short codes.
