Although "Hide Online Status:" is turned on for a member it still shows if the user online. I have it turned off here and my site (as an admin) and have tested as a regular user but it doesn't seem to change. Always shows as online (if on).
Anyone else seeing this?
Not talking about the Online plugin, that one I have deactivated. Nor the mod status widget shown in right column here.

just tested with user and worked fine... of course, you cannot hide you online status from an admin... they will always see who is online...
but if thats not the issue for you, I assume you have allowed users to hide their online status on forum - options - members? should be, or else the option should not show in the profile...

I have hide online status turned on here in my profile.
If I log out I still see my online status. So to be sure it isn't a browser cache issue I then open a different browser.
I use FF so I ran IE, with a cleared cache and can still see that I am online here.

hmmm... odd... I just logged in with a test account here and hid online status... its properly not showing up... and btw, you are not showing up when logged in as that user either... both still here... and you do show up for me which is proper...
does the forum recognize you? ie asking you to login by name at the top?
