dont understand… the captcha is not used if you are on a mobile device, including ipad or iphone… it reverts back to the math question…
O.K. I updated to the latest version and I get 2 math questions on a desktop mac, iPhone and iPad.
I cannot duplicate on mobile devices (android, BB, etc) but dont have either of those… is it really iPad? or iPad2? asking because Andy has verified on iPad2…
what is your user agent for those two??

Tested it with an iPad2, and I get both the math question and the drag&drop.
On this forum it works fine… (I get the math question on an iPad2, and the Drag&Drop on a desktop mac)
When you last updated the code did you take the plugins as well as the core SP?
Yes… when I update, I always replace the tree folders “forum-plugins” “forum-themes” and “simple-press”.
Can you go to the Manage Permissions and turn ON the ‘can bypass spam control’ permission and see what happens on both platforms please?
yes, as andy says – sorry been gone for few days… the spam math and captcha are two completely stand alone permissions and things… so if you still have math spam permission for users, they will see the math spam and the captcha… on mobiles, this will show up as two math spams…
so dont use both… if you use the captcha plugin, you need to essentially disable the math spam stuff…
