How well does this work? I struggle with access to the current V4.4.5 ‘live’ forum with my iPhone and I know that quite a few of our members are probably doing the same. I will be switching over to v5 soon and thought that I might have a look at WPtouch before building the new site/forum.
Jackey would you consider posting a few screen shots of how work/things look if the Admin team don’t mind. It strikes me that the author of WPtouch Pro is a good guy to work with.

How would that work, can SP V5 accommodate theme switching on the fly or would I have to have 2 sites sharing a common database?
From what I understand WPtouch Pro would detect my Android phone and switch themes on the WP site. Can it control the theme on the SP forum? So normal access would be my structured tan overlay on the renamed default theme and then mobile device access would be this new mobile theme?
I really like the idea of it if I can get it to work.
SP allows selection of a second, different sp theme when a mobile device is detected… no other plugin is needed… of course, this only applies to the SP display…
you select the mobile theme from the forum themes admin panel… of course, a fully mobile sp theme would help… we use the stacked theme here for mobile devices…
Technically it works with WPtouch Pro as you can see here but as Andy stated, it really needs a SP Mobile theme to reduce the content a bit. SimplePress detects the iPhone/Android perfectly, so it should merge in with no problem.
