Hello,
Are you guys aware Simple Press is not compatible with the Chat plugin from WPMU?
I know it's not really you guys problem but I was wondering if you had any idea why it would disable the forum?
I bought the chat plugin and it's not working which is a bit frustrating 
I'm trying to find a solution cause I won't remove Simple Press for sure.

I dont recall hearing that before, but multisite users are smaller in number... what happens with both running? would have to look for js conflicts with both running to have any more ideas...

In fact I just did some more test and when you are logged in, the forum pages disappear and the chat is enabled.
Once you log out, the forum goes back and the chat is disabled.
That's weird.
WP_DEBUG is enabled right now if you want to give it a look.

Ok I changed the access of the Chat and it's still there when logged on/off.
So the problem is when you are registered, the Forum disappear and this is caused by Chat/Simple Press.
If you log out, everything is fine.

Are you using the 'Bottom Corner" chat or just a chat page?
I use it on a site I maintain for just a single chat page and have bottom corner disabled and don't have any issues.
Maybe try that if you haven't.
There is also a polling interval setting where you can choose 2 different types of Ajax. Maybe try the other one?

I also noticed the SimplePress admin menu is 'screwed'

I'm using the 'Bottom Corner' chat, I didn't try the page one. Will give it a shot.
Will try the AJAX thing too.
Are you using the latest version of the Chat?
Cause when I tested the chat with a previous version (1.3) it was working ok but when I bought the plugin (which is version 2.0) it was not working anymore

Nope nothing.
Tried the 2 different AJAX methods, still the same.
Also disabled completly the 'Bottom Corner' Chat and nothing.
And the thing is, the Chat is always working fine, it's the Forum that disappear when you log in.
And that is the weird thing..
Logged In = Chat Visible / Forum NOT Visible
Logged Off = Chat Visible / Forum Visible
Seems to be related to users in a way

what are you options on forum - integration - page and permalink? might play with those a bit and see if you can get it to show... display multiple and display in loop... and the strict api...
