Support Forum
I am talking about this setting: Integration => Page and Permalink:
I would really like to be able to manually set the current permalink to http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/ as the forum page that contains the forum is set as the front page so I would have duplicate content as http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/ would have the same content as http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/forum/

I could work around it by redirecting http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/forum/ to http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/ but wouldn't it be nicer to have this option built into simple:press?
I would like to have this as well but so far we have not found a neat and tidy way of accomplishing it. It has always been like this - this is not new to V5.
But - to be honest - I have not looked at the situation again lately so I will open up a ticket so we can take a fresh look into it.

I know its an old topic, I opened it a few years ago and was quite surprised to see it is still an issue...
For now I work around it:
by redirecting http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/forum/ to http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/
but wouldn't it be nicer to have this option built into simple:press?
Thanks for adding this to your ticketing system!
After I wrote that I kicked myself and was going to edit it. Obviously not thinking too clearly yet this morning.
We can't do anything with this. This really is a limitation of WordPress. We have to have a way of identifying an SP url from a WP post or page url. Without the 'page' part of the url, WP would never hand off to SP and would try and load a page or post.
