Hi Guys, Upgrading from AIO SEO to Yoast. Figured out the toggle to stop the duplicate forum loading. But having problems with the forum seo.

Yoast is blocking the flow of SP meta title and description. It looks like i need to disable Yoast from the forum page itself as i did with AIO.

Also if i could use Yoast Sitemap it would be a plus, but the forum parent file in his sitemap returns an error.

Thanks..wink

I would prefer to use Yoast as it handles og tags better than Jetpack. It's just disabled for now. With AIO i deactivate it on the forum page so sp's seo setting flow through the forum page, sp SEO works like a charm.

Unfortunately Mr. Yoast didn't configure a disable per page post toggle and his seo is blocking sp's seo flow through the page. Went to his website to send a message but he has a message there not to contact him if you are using a FREE product. Says to message from the products wp plugin page. Did that but no reply yet.

but you havent really said what the problem was?  blocking sp seo flow through?  I occasionally test with both aioseo and wp seo (yoast)... both work fine for me there - with correct settings btw...  so perhaps you can elaborate...

btw, aioseo does social meta and og tags too...

I found it was necessary to disable AIO on the forum page. Don't know how the data flows, not a code slinger, all i know is SEO with SP must be configured in the sp seo settings. I can view what's being presented to bots in the page source. With either AIO or Yoast enabled on the WordPress forum page, sp's seo titles and descriptions are absent. All that shows it the main forum page title coming from WordPress. No mater what page i am on in sp all i get is the same forum page title.

Didn't know that AIO did og tags, will check that out.
