Simple Press mobile friendly?

Did a quick search but didn't find anything on this.

One of my moderators sends me this (and it started me testing on different devices...tablet, phone....etc )

She says:
"Now is it just me or everyone, when I am on my phone I can write a reply but the buttons dont appear. Well the attachment one does but not the smileys, cancel or most importantly the Send Private Message button. Do I have to access it a different way on the phone?..."

I checked it out on my iphone, and before I even tested her issues, it appears my forum is, well, crap. Not mobile friendly at all.

Is there something I need to do, set or adjust? Or is it my WP theme? Any ideas on this, or if it's been discussed elsewhere here, point me..

NOTE: I have NOT looked into her situation yet, since I want to see about the whole mobile thing.

Thanks

Rob

yes, simple press is mobile responsive...  of course, you must be running a responsive wp theme and a responsive sp theme...  we currently have two that are mobile responsive:  unified and reboot

additionally, make sure you set up your themes to use for mobile/tablet if different than desktop on forum - themes - mobile phone theme and forum - themes - mobile tablet theme...

I am using NewsPro from Studio press:

http://my.studiopress.com/themes/news/

It's mobile friendly, but is is SP mobile friendly. Did I pick the wrong one? Are their options for me to make my forum mobile?

thanks

I am pretty sire that our responsive SP themes work OK with StudioPress themes.
But you will need to install and use one of our responsive themes. Currently that would be 'Unified' or 'Reboot' which we use on this site. (And I am not supposed to say anything but we have third one coming along pretty soon).
