We recently have been trying to upgrade the forum and it does nothing. Spins and spins and spins for hours with no results. HOWEVER - it says it is the latest version, but then in the dashboard, says it needs to be upgraded. Not sure what is going on. Will be happy to pass on login creds.

this is normally due to another plugin corrupting the ajax/json response of the upgrade... can you try upgrading again with the browser console open, and see what the response is?

Figured it out. Caused by the map widget. Switched themes, updated and switched back.
